Tab 1 (Generating Capacity Resources)

Resource ID

Numerical identifier for the resource (Generating Capacity Resource).

Resource Name

Name of the resource (Generating Capacity Resource).

Resource Status

Status of resource (ACTIVE, RETIRED).

Load Zone ID

Numerical identifier for a Load Zone, in which the resource is electrically connected

Load Zone Name

Name of the Load Zone, in which the resource is electrically connected

Summer SCC Year (-5)

The Summer Seasonal Claimed Capability (SCC) in MW as of the 5th business day of October. "Year" refers to calendar year preceding the Forward Capacity Auction (FCA). Number in brackets refers to number of years backward from reference "Year". For example, for the FCA held in 2008, "Year" is 2007 and "Year (-5) is 2002. Note: Resource-level SCC values are determined by summing the corresponding Asset-level values, as defined by the Resource-Asset mapping definitions in CAMS.

Calculated Summer Qualified Capacity

The sum of the resource's commercial and non-commercial components. Commercial component: The median of the Generating Capacity Resource's summer Seasonal Claimed Capability ratings from the latest commercial change, up to the most recent five years, as of the fifth business day in October of each year, with only positive (non-zero) summer ratings included in the median calculation. Non-commercial component: The sum of the amount of capacity the resource cleared as New Capacity in previous Forward Capacity Auctions that has not yet achieved Commercial Operation.

Summer Qualified Capacity

Same as the "Calculated Summer Qualified Capacity," unless adjusted by the ISO prior to the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report, or in response to a customer request received during the 5 business day challenge window following receipt of the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report

Winter SCC Year (-5)

Significant Decrease in Capacity Indicator

Y/N indicator to identify whether or not the Generating Capacity Resource's most recent summer Seasonal Claimed Capability, as of the fifth business day in October, is below its Summer Qualified Capacity by more than the lesser of 20 percent of that Summer Qualified Capacity or 40 MW.

Low Winter Qualified Capacity Indicator

Y/N indicator to identify whether or not the Generating Capacity Resource's Summer Qualified Capacity exceeds the Winter Qualified Capacity by greater than the lesser of: (i) 2 MW, or (ii) two percent of the resource's Summer Qualified Capacity.

Adjusted Winter Qualified Capacity

Effective with the Existing Capacity Qualification for the third Forward Capacity Auction (Capacity Commitment Period 2012-2013), this column is no longer used and will be reported as NULL.

Tab 2 (Intermittent Power Resources)

Resource ID

Numerical identifier for the resource (Generating Capacity Resource).

Tab 3 (Demand Resources)

Resource ID

Numerical identifier for the resource (Demand Resource).

Resource Name

Name of the resource (Demand Resource).

Resource Type

Represents the FCM Resource Type. Appropriate values are: On-Peak, Seasonal Peak, Real-Time Demand Response, or Real-Time Emergency Generation

Maximum Interruptible Capacity

Effective with the Existing Capacity Qualification for the second Forward Capacity Auction (Capacity Commitment Period 2011-2012), this column is no longer used and will be reported as NULL. Maximum Interruptible Capacity will no longer be used in the determination of a Demand Resource's Qualified Capacity.

Current Adjusted ICAP Resource Capability

Effective with the Existing Capacity Qualification for the second Forward Capacity Auction (Capacity Commitment Period 2011-2012), this column is no longer used and will be reported as NULL. Current Adjusted ICAP Resource Capability will no longer be used in the determination of a Demand Resource's Qualified Capacity.

Summer Seasonal Demand Reduction Value

Same as the "Calculated Summer Seasonal Demand Reduction Value" unless adjusted by the ISO prior to the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report, or in response to a customer request received during the 5 business day challenge window following receipt of the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report.

Summer Qualified Capacity

The Summer Qualified Capacity of a Demand Resource shall be its Summer Seasonal Demand Reduction Value multiplied by one plus the percent average avoided peak transmission and distribution losses as determined by the ISO.

Winter Seasonal Demand Reduction Value

Same as the "Calculated Winter Seasonal Demand Reduction Value" unless adjusted by the ISO prior to the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report, or in response to a customer request received during the 5 business day challenge window following receipt of the first distribution of this Existing Capacity Qualification Report.

Winter Qualified Capacity

The sum of the resource's commercial and non-commercial components. Commercial component: The commercial Winter Seasonal Demand Reduction Value as of the Existing Capacity Qualification Deadline for the prior Forward Capacity Auction. Non-commercial component: The sum of the amount of capacity the resource clears as New Capacity in previous Forward Capacity Auctions that has not yet achieved Commercial Operation. If a Demand Resource did not participate in the prior Forward Capacity Auction, the Calculated Winter Seasonal Demand Reduction Value will be reported as zero.

Adjusted Winter Qualified Capacity

Effective with the Existing Capacity Qualification for the third Forward Capacity Auction (Capacity Commitment Period 2012-2013), this column is no longer used and will be reported as NULL.
